Aluminum Christmas Tree Museum Opens To Protect Endangered Species
In a land known for protecting trees and the environment, a new museum now serves to preserve the legacy of the evergreen's distant cousin... the aluminum Christmas tree. The Aluminum & Aesthetically Challenged Seasonal Ornament Museum and Research Center (ATOM) will display over thirty vintage aluminum trees from the 1950's and 1960's. Numerous color wheels and revolving stands from the era will be interspersed with artifacts from the aluminum trees' glory years. The Brevard Museum's Curator, Stephen Jackson, says "I am very pleased that Brevard College's Porter Center will host the display of this unique museum...

the public will be able to see rare gold, blue, pink and green colored vintage aluminum trees."
